Indeed, forwards Riley McKay and John Parker-Jones have extended their agreement with the farm club of the Canadiens by signing a one-way contract for a season (AHL).
Riley McKay, aged 24, made several trips between Laval and Trois-Rivières last season, accumulating 5 goals and 2 assists in 23 games with the Lions as well as 10 points in 25 encounters with the Rocket.
On the other hand, John Parker-Jones, a monster of 6'7" and 230 pounds, started the season in the ECHL where he collected 7 goals and 4 assists in 15 encounters before concluding the year with the Laval Rocket (3 points in 20 matches).
It's pleasant to see that despite the many files the general manager of the CH has to deal with at present, he is already preparing the upcoming season of the Laval Rocket to allow the numerous prospects of the Tricolore who will make the jump into the AHL to develop in a winning formation.
