MAJOR: The Montreal Canadiens confirm the duration of David Savard's absence
As mentioned earlier, Martin Leclerc reported that, according to his sources, David Savard had suffered a hand fracture and would be out for approximately six weeks. This has now been officially confirmed by the Canadiens through an official statement.
It's truly unfortunate for both him and the team. His absence could be a significant blow to the Canadiens as there is no one to directly replace what Savard brings to the ice.
