Major: Sean Monahan's potential next destination could be known
It's starting to become increasingly clear: Sean Monahan will likely be traded before March 8th. Kent Hughes and he would have an agreement to that effect.
The return could be very lucrative, but Kent Hughes is a bit constrained. Monahan would like to play for a contending team, or a team of his choice.
According to Daily Faceoff, there are six potential destinations for the center:

For players of Monahan's caliber at his salary becoming unrestricted free agents without compensation, there aren't many. Hughes might potentially secure at least a first-round pick.
