Major: a big announcement is about to come out regarding Cayden Primeau
The Canadiens have both the misfortune and the advantage of having three goalies in their lineup. It's not easy to deal with, but when the team plays many games in a short period and the two main goalies are heavily relied upon, it can be beneficial.
On Tuesday night, Jake Allen and Samuel Montembeault hit the ice at the Bell Centre against the Lightning in a defeat, especially considering the team plays four games in six nights this week.
According to Stéphane Waite, Cayden Primeau has a good chance of starting in Detroit tonight, and it would make perfect sense.
"Detroit would be good [] The last time Éric Raymond spent 40 minutes with (Primeau) on the ice, I was there in Brossard, and then Primeau played the next day."
Stéphane Waite
With two games in two days on Saturday and Sunday at the Bell Centre, it would be logical to see Primeau in Detroit tonight. An announcement will be made in the next few hours.
