Brad Marchand is probably the best example of the kind of agitator that all teams hate to face but would welcome with open arms.
Right now, there's a 22-year-old named Xavier Simoneau making more and more noise with the Laval Rocket. Standing at only 5'6", you can imagine he had to work very hard to be drafted into the NHL, despite undeniable talent.
What characterizes Simoneau the most is that he plays big. He's a true pest on the ice while being productive offensively. He's not afraid to drop the gloves, even against players a foot taller than him.
For his character, his energy, his production, and the fact that Martin St-Louis is well-placed to know that a smaller player can be useful in an NHL lineup, don't be surprised if the Habs call up Simoneau in case of injury.
He has 10 points in 15 games with the Rocket, ranking 4th on the team's scoring chart, but his importance goes beyond his points. He disrupts a lot, and he plays the right way
