Although the Flames claimed a few days ago that Darryl Sutter would be in position next season, several journalists have just confirmed the opposite by mentioning that the head coach has been fired!
Wow! We did not expect such news!
Although he seemed to have the confidence of the owners, the difficult season ultimately cost him his head coaching position!
Despite this dismissal, Darryl Sutter will still receive an annual salary of 4 million dollars for the next two seasons, as he had just signed a contract extension.
Let's bet that Jonathan Huberdeau and Jakob Pelletier are not likely to be upset by this news.
