Matt Duchene has just signed with a powerful team that is likely to be dominant
We have just learned that Matt Duchene, the former forward of the Nashville Predators, has signed a one-year contract worth $3 million with the Dallas Stars.
After being bought out by his former team, Duchene joins a well-equipped lineup with the Texas franchise.
Following an incredible campaign of 43 goals and 86 points in 78 games in 2021-2022, Duchene experienced a significant slowdown this season, being limited to 22 goals and 56 points in 71 games.
Although his statistics have decreased significantly, it was still a surprise in the NHL to see his contract being bought out by Nashville.
