Official: A young forward lands in Montreal
As you may know, Tanner Pearson has been injured and will be out for a period of six to eight weeks.
His name was placed on the injured list today, and the Canadiens had to call up a forward. There was speculation about whether Joshua Roy would be the chosen one, or if Kent Hughes would sign a contract with Brandon Gignac.
Instead, Emil Heineman was recalled by the main club. He has been injured this year, explaining his modest four-point tally in seven games. However, he is the closest to the NHL along with Lias Andersson, who is currently injured.
