Patrick Roy with the Senators: Hockey analyst is getting picked on social media
On Tuesday evening, during his appearance on the show "Le 5 à 7," Norman Flynn dropped a very important piece of information regarding Patrick Roy. According to the analyst, Roy was reportedly seen at a restaurant in Kanata, the home of the Senators.
Naturally, this sparked a flurry of rumors. Kanata is a relatively simple city, not known for being a tourist destination. So, the chances of Roy being there without any connection to the Senators are quite slim.
However, we have just learned that the rumor reported by Flynn is false. According to him, a reliable source had seen Patrick, but we have received confirmation that he was in Quebec yesterday.
"Well, there you go, verified by a real journalist.
It's certainly less exciting than 'I know someone who knows someone who saw Patrick from a distance in the Burger King line.'"
Simon-Olivier Lorange
It's unfortunate for Norman, as we would have liked it to be true for the sake of his credibility. Unfortunately, it will have to wait for another time.
