Quebec City has just sent a solid slap in the face of Gary Bettman and the NHL
The final series of the QMJHL between the Quebec Remparts and the Halifax Mooseheads concluded yesterday, as Patrick Roy's men emerged victorious with an exciting win in the sixth game.
While the absurd saga of the Coyotes in Arizona continues, with no city willing to welcome the NHL franchise, in Quebec, all three games of the final series were played to sold-out crowds, and the Remparts received unprecedented support from their fans.
Take a look at the pictures of the fans welcoming their victorious team as they returned late last night from Halifax.
It was absolutely incredible, with a massive crowd gathered outside the Centre Vidéotron!
The Quebec fans, who are eager for the return of the Nordiques, sent a powerful message to Gary Bettman. The city is ready for an NHL team, and it's the strongest statement they could make to the league commissioner.
