There is no doubt that this will not affect the Chicago Blackhawks' choice as Bedard is by far the best player of the 2023 class, but it has still not stopped fans from making several comments about this surprising news.
What is rather impressive is that the 18-year-old forward will officially become the smallest first overall pick in NHL history. This shows once again that the size of a player is no longer as important as it used to be, as we can confidently say that Connor Bedard will become one of the best players in the NHL in the coming years!
