Currently, there is a heated societal debate about whether or not to ban fighting in hockey.
However, Jeff Marek, a Sportsnet expert, has shocked the hockey community by suggesting that body checking could also be banned in the future, leading to an even more significant debate. This is truly surprising.
"Marek on 32TP thinks one day we will have a conversation about the end of board hitting." - NHL Watcher
Jeff Marek expressed this opinion in a recent episode of the highly popular "32 Thoughts" podcast. Additionally, I'm curious to know whether you are for or against the ban on fighting in the NHL. Finally, do some people really think it's necessary to abolish body checking along the boards as well?
In short, this will generate a lot of buzz and discussion!
