The Canadiens are making the Bell Centre come alive for a very special occasion
As the great Patrick Roy makes his return to the Bell Centre, now as the head coach of the New York Islanders, the Canadiens' organization wanted to do something special.
During the national anthem, a video highlighting Casseau's great moments was played on the giant screen. It was a moment that was highly appreciated by the fans in attendance.
The ovation matched the enthusiasm of Montreal fans: spectacular. It sent shivers down the spine. Even analysts and commentators have remarked that the scene was indeed special.
