The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, has just signed the 7th overall pick in 2017, Lias Anderson, ahead of the upcoming season (two-way contract).
Andersson, who is 24 years old and stands at 6 feet 1 inch, is a center who has collected 17 career points in the NHL. However, he showcased exceptional dominance in the AHL at a young age.
- He scored 17 points in just 15 games in 2021.
- In 2022, he netted 6 goals across 4 games.
- He amassed an impressive 60 points over 67 games in 2023.
- During the playoffs, he contributed 4 points in only 3 games.
