The Canadiens players have a specific ritual for injured players who require surgery
It's well-known that in sports, there are all sorts of superstitions, whether it's in baseball, basketball, or even hockey.
Of course, we don't often hear about them, but they truly exist. They can involve routines, songs, the order in which equipment is put on, and all sorts of things.
For the Canadiens, there is indeed a ritual that was noticed by the team of "Habs on Reddit." When a player needs to undergo surgery, as was the case with Kirby Dach on Tuesday, they wear the same expensive Louis Vuitton hat.
Let's hope that the hat has the same effect for Dach as it did for Cole Caufield, who wore it during his knee surgery.
