The Stars, who are facing elimination, must already cope without their captain, Jamie Benn, who is serving the second game of his suspension. In addition, coach Peter DeBoer confirmed that Evegenii Dadonov will not be available for tonight's game.
'He is unavailable (for Game 5). I would say his situation is more than day-to-day, but I wouldn't say he's out for the playoffs' - Peter DeBoer
Since his arrival with the Stars, the former Canadiens forward has played a key role within the American formation, recording 15 points in 23 regular season games. During the playoffs, Dadonov also brought an interesting offensive contribution with a harvest of four goals and six assists in 16 meetings.
