The forward Tomas Tatar has just caused a big surprise
While he is still without a contract for the upcoming season, former Montreal Canadiens forward Tomas Tatar has just made a significant decision regarding his future in the NHL.
Despite many rumors suggesting he was on the verge of joining the Pittsburgh Penguins organization, everything now seems to indicate that he is headed in a completely different direction.
In the midst of negotiating a new contract, the 32-year-old Slovak has changed agencies and is now represented by the Newport Sports Management firm.
The uniqueness of this agency lies in the fact that it boasts an impressive number of current or former New York Islanders players, including Josh Bailey, Cal Clutterbuck, Casey Cizikas, Matt Martin, Bo Horvat, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, and Zach Parise.
Let's say that this fuels suspicions of him potentially landing on Long Island in the very near future.
