The forward of the Montreal Canadiens did not hesitate to send a jab at his brother and the Toronto Maple Leafs
A few weeks ago, Cole Caufield's brother, Brock Caufield, made the rounds on the web when he agreed to the terms of a one-season contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. Indeed, several fans found it rather strange to see the name "Caufield" on the back of a jersey of a team rivaling the Canadiens.
Never having been drafted in the NHL, it was certainly a very special moment for the 24-year-old right winger, who notably played with his brother at the University of Wisconsin. He also did very well last season with a harvest of 11 goals and 12 assists (23 points) in 36 games.
However, when asked about his older brother's decision, Cole Caufield did not hesitate to send a jab his way, noting that he could have chosen another team than the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Of course, the number 22 of the Tricolore still took the time to praise his brother, mentioning that he was very proud of him for finally realizing his dream of signing a deal with a team in the NHL.
