While he was appearing on TSN for his popular segment Insider Trading, the informant Pierre LeBrun revealed a massive piece of information about the future of Patrick Roy.
Indeed, he mentioned that the famous number 33 is closer than ever to a return to the NHL as a coach. This would be a real possibility, according to LeBrun.
He even added that the current coach of the Quebec Remparts wants to return to the National League, and that several teams have already had discussions with him in this regard.
Contrary to rumors about potential destinations, it seems even more serious now, as Roy would be in discussions with some organizations. We have heard New York and Columbus as a possible place, there could be more.
This will be a matter to follow during the offseason.
