Let's remember that last week, the Canadiens stated that the 27-year-old center player would have to miss the first few weeks of the regular season, and he might possibly make a return to the game at the beginning of November.
It's pleasing to see that Dvorak has not suffered any setback in his rehabilitation and that he is able to test his right knee. We strongly hope he will manage to rejoin the main team soon, as he could provide valuable services within the third line.
Acquired shortly after Jesperi Kotkaniemi's departure to Carolina, the number 28 of the Tricolore has scored 21 goals and 40 assists (61 points) in 120 games in the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge uniform. Although he hasn't met the fans' expectations, Dvorak remains an important member of Martin St-Louis' lineup.
On a side note, Paul Byron seems to be taking his new role very seriously, and we are thrilled to see that he will remain with the organization throughout the season.
