A well-deserved contract extension for one of the best defensemen in the NHL. At 23 years old, the Swede finished the last season ranked 5th in scoring among defensemen with an impressive 15 goals and 58 assists (73 points) in 78 games.
Since his arrival with the Buffalo Sabres in 2018-2019, the defenseman, standing at 6'3" and weighing over 200 pounds, quickly became a key element to the team's success, amassing 233 points in 355 NHL games.
