The Canadiens' management has decided to send Logan Mailloux and Lane Hutson to represent the organization at the Rookie Showcase
Kent Hughes and Martin St-Louis have chosen to send these two worthy representatives to this NHL rookie-only tournament. Having suited up for the Canadiens last year in the final game of the season against the Red Wings, both players made a strong impression.
They will now try to earn a spot in Martin St-Louis' regular lineup as early as October, and it wouldn't be surprising if both players start in Montreal for the first game of the regular season.
The Canadiens have a high regard for these two blue-line prospects. This is why Kent Hughes didn't hesitate to trade Jordan Harris to acquire the services of Patrik Laine.
The Montreal Canadiens have one of the best pools of defensive prospects in the NHL, and we are eager to see them in action very soon.
The Rookie Showcase will begin on September 4th, and we'll have the chance to see Logan Mailloux and Lane Hutson in action!
