A young player wants to play in Montreal, and it would be a perfect fit
It's currently the NHL Combine, and all general managers, as well as many prospects, are in Buffalo for the occasion.
It's the perfect time to meet the prospects, ask them questions, get to know them, and see what kind of person they are beyond hockey players.
We know that Kent Hughes likes to select good players who are also good people. This step is therefore crucial.
It was Sacha Boisvert's turn to meet with the Canadiens' management, and we can say that the native of Trois-Rivières was ready for this interview.
Here's a response he gave to the Canadiens. Something to make fans dream.
Sacha Boisvert, on the pressure of playing in a market like Montreal:
"The pressure? Having to put food on the table for your family, that's pressure! Me, I play hockey and I have fun. No pressure in that!"
- Anthony Martineau
That's the kind of person Boisvert is, besides being a fantastic hockey player tailor-made for the Canadiens' needs.
"What a response!
Honestly, Sacha Boisvert fits so well into the style of team Kent Hughes wants to build.
A tall center at 6'2 with good offensive skills, defensively responsible, gritty, likes to drop the gloves... a perfect fit for the Canadiens!"
- Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
Kent Hughes and his team are currently evaluating whether they will trade the 26th overall pick from the Winnipeg Jets, but if they keep it, there's a real possibility of seeing Boisvert land in Montreal.
