Acquisition within the Montreal Canadiens organization: things are moving
The Montreal Canadiens organization continues to strive for improvement by signing useful and reliable players.
We have just learned that defenseman Zack Hayes has agreed to a two-way contract with the Laval Rocket.
"Rocket agree to terms on a one-year, two-way AHL contract with defenseman Zack Hayes." - Laval Rocket
Hayes, a 25-year-old defenseman standing at 6'3" and 219 lbs, is a formidable presence. He previously played for the Vegas Golden Knights during the 2021-22 season.
Since then, he has been playing in the American Hockey League (AHL), establishing himself as a dependable defensive defenseman.
Last year, he played for three different teams. Hopefully, he will find his role and stability with the Rocket.
