Big controversy surrounding Cole Caufield and the bars
There have been a couple of players who indulged too much in Montreal. The nightlife is well-known, and it's easy to fall into the trap when you're a young, wealthy player.
For these reasons, it's highly frowned upon to see a player from the organization, especially a young one, in a bar. Unfortunately, this happened to Cole Caufield, and the news is spreading fast.
"I would just like to point out that maybe it's time for the real boss of the Canadiens to make a phone call to Serge Savard. The Senator might give him some advice on the art of controlling the most popular bars in the city. There will always be slip-ups, but why not be cautious?
For example, on Thursday night at Marcus, Cole Caufield had obviously ingested way too much cough syrup. Poor guy, he was completely dizzy." - Réjean Tremblay
The good news is that the Canadiens didn't play on Friday, so Cole was 100% for the weekend games.
It's not a major issue for now, but Caufield will have to be careful not to be seen too often and, especially, not to get drunk in front of fans and journalists.
