Big statement about Jonathan Drouin and the Canadiens
Jonathan Drouin is happy in Colorado and he is very involved. It may not have been apparent because he doesn't boast about it, but that was also the case with the Canadiens.
Indeed, a former employee of the Habs knows him well and revealed that Jonathan is an exceptional human being. David St-Germain was a guest on the Stanley25 podcast and had this to say:
"There were players who were really generous, but who were more in the shadows. [...] Jonathan Drouin and Shea Weber, on the other hand, they would buy annual suites to invite children to games.
They didn't boast about it in the media, but we could see it." It's important to highlight the good deeds of players, which are often in the shadows. Jo was also involved in hospitals, where he regularly visited young patients.
As a player, Drouin may not have had the desired impact in Montreal. However, as a human being and role model, he is top-notch. He was sensational. Thank you for everything, Jo!
