BOOM: Logan Mailloux just delivered a powerful body check and dropped the gloves
Logan Mailloux is having quite a first season in the American Hockey League, notably participating in the All-Star Game.
The defenseman is known for his smoothness, shot, play vision, and speed, but he's also a formidable athlete. His 6'3" and 220 lbs make him a formidable player along the boards.
On Friday night, in the final minutes as of writing these lines, Mailloux put his physicality to good use with a powerful body check.
This led to a scrum, and Mailloux dropped the gloves. The fight didn't really happen because officials quickly intervened, but for the body check, it was very solid.
We look forward to seeing him in action with the Canadiens, possibly next year.
