CH: Tortorella furious with referees over Kaiden Guhle
The Canadiens hosted the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night. At the end of the second period, the polarizing coach John Tortorella questioned the referees about a specific play.
Indeed, Kaiden Guhle was accused of slashing a Flyers player towards the end of the period. However, the issue was that Guhle wasn't even on the ice at the time, which was evident. He wasn't even penalized for the supposed infraction!
We know that Torts tends to lose his temper easily, but in this case, he was completely right to confront the referees. He has been reprimanded recently, so it's clear he's trying to restrain himself as much as possible.
