This is a tall order, especially for a club that is already very young-the second youngest team in the entire NHL. While the prospects are performing well, others who have been demoted do not share the same outlook.
According to rumors, the prospects coming down from the Canadiens to join the Laval Rocket bring along some bad habits. It's starting to create a stir.
We know that Joshua Roy has been targeted by rumors about his off-ice habits, and Logan Mailloux as well as Alex Barré-Boulet have also headed to Laval.
In the case of the defenseman, I don't know if it applies to him, because he has 9 points in 4 games and he was just named the AHL player of the week. He is simply dominating the American League, it's almost a joke how much of a man he is among children.
Logan Mailloux is all fired up and it seems like his return from Montreal has rather whipped him into shape. In fact, I don't think players come from Montreal with bad habits.
I think players who come from Montreal still have to work on certain points before returning to the NHL and that's why they are demoted.
I'm sure that if we ask Pascal Vincent if Joshua Roy, Alex Barré-Boulet and Logan Mailloux arrived in Laval with an attitude problem, he will say that his three best players are doing very well.
