Florian Xhekaj follows Arber with a nickname that goes with Sheriff
Florian Xhekaj joined the professional ranks a few days ago, signing contracts with both the Canadiens and the Rocket.
The younger Xhekaj even played three games with Laval, but unfortunately, the team is now eliminated from the playoffs.
Questioned about his nickname by the media, as everyone is aware of his brother Arber's nickname, the Sheriff, Florian surprised many.
"Habs prospect Florian Xhekaj on if he wants his nickname from junior - The Deputy - to stick in the #AHL with Laval: 'whatever the fans want to call me, I'm good with.'"
Indeed, Florian is nicknamed The Deputy. Imagine when the Canadiens have both The Deputy and The Sheriff in their ranks to enforce the law!
