Gary Bettman sends flowers to Chantal Machabée: a first
Chantal Machabée is truly an exceptional woman, and she was finally recognized for her true worth on Tuesday night.
Indeed, she received the Medal of Honor from the National Assembly of Quebec, which is a first for a member of the Montreal Canadiens organization.
There's another first, as Gary Bettman, through the NHL, wanted to send his congratulations to the great lady.
"The NHL congratulates @CanadiensMTL Vice President, Hockey Communications Chantal Machabée for receiving the Quebec National Assembly's Medal of Honour." - NHL
It's incredible how the VP of Communications for the Habs must be having a wonderful week! Flowers are being thrown at her from everywhere, and it's well-deserved.
As we know Chantal, she takes it all with great humility. But her hard work and perseverance have brought her this far, and she hasn't stolen anything from anyone.
Congratulations once again, Chantal, on this wonderful achievement!
