Hilarious scene at the Bell Centre: both benches are cracking up
We just witnessed a hilarious scene at the Bell Centre as a goal by Brendan Gallagher was initially accepted, then disallowed. Players and coaches on both benches were cracking up.
Indeed, Gallagher directed a puck towards the opposing net from his favorite spot. The puck appeared to cross the goal line. The referees went to video review, where it was clear that there was no goal.
Against all expectations, the goal was initially accepted. We instantly saw a big smile on Martin St-Louis' face. However, the situation was eventually corrected, and the goal was disallowed.
Both teams were cracking up on the benches! A very unusual scene.
