Lane Hutson: it is now confirmed by his father and the Canadiens
The contract signed by Lane Hutson in recent days provides reassurance for everyone. However, we are eager to have confirmation of his first NHL game.
It is finally his father who has confirmed that his son will play Monday night in Detroit. It will therefore be his first career game!
"Rob Hutson confirms that his son Lane will have his NHL debut with the Habs tomorrow in Detroit."
- Habs On Reddit
It's a must-watch event! Many fans have not had the opportunity to see him in action in the NCAA, so here is your chance!
We are talking about the possible future quarterback of the Canadiens, a defenseman capable of scoring more than one point per game in the NCAA. He has followed in the footsteps of Cale Makar, Quinn Hughes, and Adam Fox, to name just a few.
Notably, Lane has chosen to wear the number 48 with the Canadiens. He is thus letting go of number 85 and "stealing" the number from Filip Mesar.
Wearing the number 20 with Boston University, Hutson could not keep his number because Juraj Slafkovsky holds it.
