Major development for Ivan Demidov and it's big for the Canadiens
Since he was selected 5th overall by the Canadiens in the last draft, Ivan Demidov has been under close scrutiny, but we haven't had much to sink our teeth into.
Indeed, the forward got injured during the season and still hadn't recovered. His absence was glaring at the start of SKA's training camp, which was even more concerning.
Yet, it was believed he would be fit and ready to start the KHL camp, but evidently that wasn't the case. 10 days later, he still wasn't there.
According to Nicolas Cloutier, who spoke with his agent, Demidov was finishing his recovery from the injury, which explained his absence.
We've just received excellent news for the Canadiens, as Demidov is finally back in training and appears more motivated than ever.
Indeed, for his development, playing with men in the KHL will be excellent, and the fact that he's back in training shows he'll be fully ready for the start of the season.
