Martin St-Louis Confirms the Rumor, and It's a Big Surprise
With an incredible performance against the Columbus Blue Jackets last week, it was expected that Martin St-Louis would quickly return with Cayden Primeau.
Samuel Montembeault performed well against the Bruins, and as the number one goalie, one would tend to believe he would play two consecutive games, but the coach has other plans.
It's now confirmed that Primeau will be in the net for the Canadiens on Saturday night in Calgary.
"Cayden Primeau will get the start against the Flames"
- Montreal Canadiens
It's quite surprising given Samuel's number one status, but at the same time, Preems certainly deserved to have two consecutive starts.
Another change will be made to the lineup, as Jayden Struble will take the place of Johnathan Kovacevic. I have a feeling that St-Louis will play musical chairs with Kovacevic, Struble, and Harris until the end of the season.
Furthermore, the upcoming addition of Lane Hutson will also change the dynamics. To be continued...
