It's moments like these that make you realize the omnipresent pressure of Montreal. Jonathan Drouin was willing to open up about the Canadiens, and it's quite shocking.

It's not that he didn't enjoy playing for the Habs. Jo loved his years in Montreal, the organization, and the fans. But he was putting too much pressure on himself, and the pot was boiling over.

"I think I'm calmer now,' he admits. 'When I was in Montreal, if I didn't get a point after one or two periods, I would get frustrated and lose sight of my game a bit. Now, if I don't have any points, I don't worry about it." - Jonathan Drouin

With 46 points in 69 games, Jonathan has become a transformed player. He could even surpass his personal best of 53 points in a season.

His head coach, Jared Bednar, and teammates like his close friend Nathan MacKinnon, have nothing but praise for him.

"Since we passed the first ten games of the season, he's been incredible. He's getting better every week, putting in so much time and effort, and he has a great attitude."

"The guys love him here, and I knew that would be the case, and I'm very happy for him," added his teammate Nathan MacKinnon.

It's really great to see him happy and so light on the ice. We've seen some of his highlights this season, and he seems to fly across the ice. He's the biggest steal in the entire NHL among players not in their rookie contracts.
