Firstly, the Trois-Rivières Lions, an ECHL affiliate of the Canadiens, have just announced the signing of forward Anthony Beauchamp.
Beauchamp is a 6-foot, 205-pound right winger known for his toughness. Indeed, during his time in the QMJHL, he recorded 28 points but, more importantly, 57 penalty minutes in 65 games during the 2017-2018 season.
Since the start of his professional career, Anthony Beauchamp has accumulated 74 points in 180 games and 188 penalty minutes over three seasons in the ECHL with Greenville.
We are delighted to welcome Anthony to the prestigious Montreal Canadiens organization. We look forward to seeing him in action at the training camp next September.
His presence will add a dose of toughness to our team.
That's not all.
Regarding current developments within the lower levels of the organization, it is important to note that Marco Normandin recently announced that the position of head coach for the Laval Rocket is between two candidates, one of whom is already well known to our community.
