The Canadiens organization loses another tough guy, making it two
In recent hours, we announced that the Canadiens organization was losing the services of the giant John Parker-Jones.
He was a player who had impressed at the rookie camp in Buffalo and even earned a call-up from the Laval Rocket, coming from the Trois-Rivières Lions.
Today, we learn that another tough guy, who never hesitated to drop the gloves, is leaving the organization.
Ryley McKay is joining the Vegas Golden Knights.
"Welcome to Henderson, Riley and Braeden!
We've signed Riley McKay and Braeden Bowman to AHL contracts for the 2024-25 season!"
- Henderson Silver Knights
McKay will undoubtedly be appreciated with the Silver Knights and will be able to stand out, no doubt about it.
For the Canadiens organization, this is starting to be concerning. Several key players have left the Rocket, not to mention those who will play with the Canadiens this year.
We are especially thinking of Logan Mailloux, who should start the season in Montreal, barring a disaster.
Good luck, Riley, in this new challenge!
