Tim Stutzle continues to infuriate Brendan Gallagher, and the League will have to take action against the Senators
Is it hockey, or is it soccer? It's hard to tell when watching the Senators play. Of course, they play hockey, but they act as well as soccer players, so much so that it's glaring and ridiculous.
Once again last night, Brendan Gallagher confronted Tim Stutzle towards the end of the game. We're talking about the best actor in the NHL, recognized as such. Gally and Stutzle have a history that has infuriated the CH forward.
Last night, Gally dropped the gloves in front of him, but the German turned away. With a 5-1 lead, it was indeed unnecessary for him to fight.
Tim Stützle on Brendan Gallagher trying to fight him late in the third period:
«He's been all over me, but I don't really care to be honest with you. You're up 5-1, there is zero need to fight him. He told me I was scared of him. I see it completely different. But that's fine.» - Tim Stutzle
However, if the young player doesn't know what bothers Gallagher, he hasn't understood anything. It's worth adding that the team captain, Brady Tkachuk, is also a good actor. We saw evidence of this when Jayden Struble received a penalty against him.
The League will inevitably have to address this because it leads to incidents like the one with Gallagher and Stutzle.
