Patrick Roy does not mean to laugh with Lane Hutson: Statement from Anthony Duclair
Lane Hutson is already building a solid reputation in the NHL, and his talent has not gone unnoticed by the Islanders and Patrick Roy.
Indeed, Lane played more than 30 minutes in the last game, and to be honest, he rules the ice on the ice. When he has the puck, he does pretty much what he wants with it. His opponents have sore ankles after the match.
He didn't get a point against the Kings, but it must be said that he was the only one on his team on the ice. No one showed up for this match. Even he can't do everything alone.
In the eyes of the Islanders, he is the player to watch heading into tonight's game, without a doubt. Anthony Duclair also gave a serious warning.
«We're going to give him the same attention as Cale Makar a few days ago in Colorado. »
- Anthony Duclair It should be remembered that Lane Hutson only has 7 games of experience in the NHL. He already gets the same treatment as the best defender in the League, which says a lot.
He is absolutely part of the Islanders' game plan and you can be sure that there will always be a player glued to him. This is not a bad game plan from Patrick Roy, far from it.
Lane Hutson is certainly the Canadiens player who most often controls the puck in a game. Preventing him from having it or forcing him to get rid of it is not bad for an opponent.
They did well against the Avalanche, limiting Makar to one assist in a 6-2 Islanders win.
