The Quebec Nordiques could buy the Coyotes: details
We have details regarding the future of the Arizona Coyotes. The Nordiques could possibly buy them, and we have the details.
Plan A is still to keep the team in Arizona. There is a $3 billion new arena project in the works. However, the owner would also be open to selling the team for $1 billion.
According to John Gambadoro, the owner is testing the waters and asking for $1 billion to sell his club.
Investors from outside Arizona would be interested, as well as investors from outside the state. And no, the story does not say if Pierre-Karl Péladeau is involved.
It's an astronomical price, but it's also the starting price. There is surely room for negotiation.
More details to follow.
