A familiar face at the Canadiens' practice, and it's a big surprise
There's so much speculation regarding Kaiden Guhle's health that it's hard to know what to believe. Yesterday, the organization issued a statement saying that his condition is being evaluated daily, but provided no further details.
Johnathan Kovacevic, his defensive partner, told reporters that he hopes to see him back in a few weeks, which only added to the confusion.
However, this morning, the defenseman was on the ice just before the team's practice. He looked great on skates. It's certain that his injury is upper body, so he's able to skate, but if it were serious, he wouldn't be on the ice.
This is excellent news in itself. I won't speculate on a possible return date, but he appears to be doing well enough to come back soon.
