Last-minute announcement concerning Pierre Gervais: Canadiens fans will be very happy to hear this news
Although he has worked behind the scenes for over 30 seasons within the Montreal Canadiens organization, the name Pierre Gervais is well-known among sports fans. Indeed, the Quebec native has done remarkable work during his tenure as the equipment manager for the Canadiens.
Moreover, the former member of the Canadiens was at the center of a major controversy last season due to the publication of his book "Au coeur du vestiaire" ("At the Heart of the Locker Room"). Sharing several anecdotes that occurred with the players and staff of the Canadiens, he allowed Montreal fans to delve into the team's universe.
However, he had been sharply criticized in public following the release of his book, as several observers mentioned that he had broken an unwritten rule by sharing certain stories that took place in the Canadiens' locker room.
Fortunately for the fans of the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge, who loved Pierre Gervais' first book, Mattias Brunet has just announced that the two men are currently working on a second volume that should be released this fall.
"We can't hide anything from you. The writing is almost done, actually. Pierre still had a lot left in his memory chest! I would have never repeated the experience if I wasn't convinced that there was still a lot of material to cover! Mattias Brunet." - Mattias Brunet
We are eager to learn more about the stories that have unfolded behind the scenes of the organization in recent years. There is no doubt that the book "Au coeur du vestiaire, tome 2" ("At the Heart of the Locker Room, Volume 2") will be a great success.
