Last-minute signing with the Canadiens: an interesting reinforcement has signed with the organization and it's the return of Mitchell Stephens
We have just learned that the Montreal Canadiens organization has reached an agreement with restricted free agent Mitchell Stephens.
This is great news for the depth of the Laval Rocket, as Stephens was one of the team leaders last season. He will undoubtedly play a mentoring role for the many rookies from the Canadiens who will be making the leap to the American Hockey League next year.
In 68 games in Laval this year, Mitchell scored 20 goals and accumulated 41 points.
