In a recent column published on the DansLesCoulisses website, Maxime Truman discussed the possibility of the Montreal organization making a major announcement that would completely change the way fans watch Canadiens games.

Indeed, according to information from Réjean Tremblay, the two Quebecer sports channels, namely RDS and TVA Sports, will likely not renew their agreement with the NHL to remain the official broadcaster of the Tricolore after the 2025-2026 season.

Wow! That would be major!

This is not the first time rumors have circulated about TVA Sports, as Pierre-Karl Péladeau himself admitted to overpaying for the broadcasting rights, but now RDS would also be jumping ship?

Moreover, Réjean Tremblay has stated that the CH group is currently considering launching its own streaming site to showcase the Blue-White-Red games.

The CH Group would be tempted to create its own streaming network to present Canadiens games, but also Festival de Jazz shows, and Just for Laughs performances that take place at the Bell Centre.» - Maxime Truman

More details to follow.
