Since his hiring with the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes had a very specific plan in mind. Indeed, the general manager has started a rebuilding process to rejuvenate the Tricolore's lineup, allowing it to be competitive for several seasons.

Moreover, he has done remarkable work over the past few months, completing numerous transactions that will undoubtedly help the organization succeed in the future.

A photo posted on Twitter has also shown us how much the face of the team has changed since the run to the Stanley Cup final in 2021. Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Josh Anderson, Brendan Gallagher, Jake Evans, Joel Armia, and Jake Allen are the only players still with the CH presently.

Wow! A picture that speaks volumes about the many personnel moves undertaken by the Canadiens!

Tyler Toffoli, Joel Edmundson, Artturi Lehkonen, Jeff Petry, Ben Chiarot, Shea Weber have all been traded while Philip Danault, Corey Perry, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi have signed with new teams. Moreover, although they are still within the Tricolore, Carey Price, and Paul Byron are no longer active.

One can quickly notice the work done by Kent Hughes in recent months. One thing is for sure, it bodes well for the club's future!

The organization is finally heading in the right direction and seems destined for a very promising future. We are looking forward to seeing what the team will look like in two to three seasons.
