Major Surprise: The Canadiens reveal the forward who will play on the first line during the intra-squad game, and we really did not expect this
In the last few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens have unveiled their lines for the Red versus White intra-squad game that will take place starting at 1 p.m., and a huge surprise finds himself alongside Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
Indeed, it's the newcomer, Tanner Pearson who will complete the first line during this afternoon's game.
This will be the last chance for some prospects to prove themselves before the start of the preseason games, which will begin tomorrow with a match against the New Jersey Devils.
Moreover, several top players will be missing for today's meeting as Alex Newhook, Josh Anderson, Juraj Slafkovsky, Arber Xhekaj, Kaiden Guhle, Jordan Harris, Justin Barron, Joshua Roy, Owen Beck, and Samuel Montembeault are not listed in either of the lineups.
