Things are going to get stirred up: Michael Pezzetta sends a strong message to Ryan Reaves of the Toronto Maple Leafs
Known for his intensity and zeal on the ice, Michael Pezzetta quickly won the hearts of Montreal fans. Although he is not the most talented player, he plays a crucial role in Martin St-Louis's lineup, consistently bringing energy and never backing down from anyone to defend his teammates.
It's particularly remembered that the Canadiens' forward had decided to drop the gloves against one of the NHL's best fighters, Ryan Reaves, last season. A decision that, unfortunately, turned against him, as he took numerous punches from the tough guy of the Rangers at that time.
However, Pezzetta has just sent a big invitation to the recent acquisition of the Maple Leafs, and it promises to be interesting for the first game of the season. Clearly, the number 55 of the Canadiens is not afraid, and he hopes to be able to take his revenge this season.
"When I found out that Reaves was signing in Toronto, I was excited. I am someone who likes to play hard, so when there are guys like him on the other side, it makes things more interesting."
"You never know. Maybe I'll have another chance to fight him and, this time, it will go better." - Michael Pezzetta
Wow! We love it!
This means that Arber Xhekaj will have backup in this department this season as Pezzetta plans to keep challenging the strongest men in the NHL. It's noteworthy that the 25-year-old left-winger took lessons with George Laraque this summer to improve his technique.
One thing is certain, we can't wait to see what he has learned!
