We are eagerly awaiting the final verdict on Kirby Dach's injury, but according to preliminary forecasts, things don't look good at all. His season may be in jeopardy.

It's really unfortunate for the young man because it seemed like his career was about to take a very interesting turn.

Until we receive an official communication from the team regarding how long he will be sidelined, there are two other injuries in the organization. A tough start to the season, no doubt.

Firstly, Emil Heineman, who was just about to make his NHL debut, won't be returning anytime soon.

"Forward Emil Heineman (upper-body injury) will be kept out of the game indefinitely." - Laval Rocket

Secondly, David Reinbacher's injury is confirmed, but we've avoided the worst in his case. It's a knee injury, but he should be back quickly.

"EXCLUSIVE:

David Reinbacher has just received the results of an MRI.

Good news: no fractures. However, he is experiencing pain and will require physiotherapy treatments.

Currently, an absence of 1 to 3 weeks is being discussed, depending on progress." - Via Anthony Martineau, TVA Sports

Let's hope the injuries will let up on the Canadiens because this start to the season doesn't seem very different from last year, a record year for the number of missed games by players due to injuries.
