The turn for Logan Mailloux to drop the gloves, and it ends quite badly for him
On Friday night, Arber Xhekaj dropped the gloves against Brennan Saulnier of the Belleville Senators. He handed him a solid beating, and it's safe to say that the Sens player won't make that mistake again.
On Saturday night, the two arch-rivals faced off again, and this time, it was Logan Mailloux who let go of his mitts against Zack Ostapchuk. The Sens player is an expert, while Mailloux is a newcomer to the field.
The result was quite one-sided, as Mailloux took quite a beating. He ended up on the ice quite quickly, but he still gave it his all.
Hopefully, the Canadiens' defensive prospect won't have to do this too often because it's clearly not his role, and the team needs him on the ice, not in the penalty box for five minutes.
